Dear Hendricks County 4-H Supporters:
Empty fields, colder temperatures, and festive lights popping up throughout Hendricks County are all signals that the holiday season is just around the corner. For many, this is a time for celebration and reflection. The Hendricks County 4-H Fair Association is also taking the time to celebrate and reflect on a tremendous 2021.
Thanks to you, our donors, and friends, we celebrate award winning events, record crowds, and the return of our signature event, The Hendricks County 4-H Fair! We celebrate the vaccines delivered by our hospital and health department partners in our conference center and drive through clinics, the hundreds of children and adults impacted by our Extension programs, and thousands of animals on the grounds during an entire season of livestock shows.
We also celebrate major improvements to our Fairgrounds and facilities. Thanks to your generous support, we were able to upgrade the heating and cooling system, add new gravel to the livestock parking lot, replace lighting with new energy efficient LED lighting throughout the grounds, and install a new digital video sign to inform and welcome our community.
As we reflect on these events and improvements, we know that we are fortunate that our Fairgrounds and Conference Center is a premiere destination for local and national events. Looking forward to the future, let us aspire to grow and develop even more events and opportunities for all ages! Let us create a facility that is a year-round destination and a welcoming environment for all of our county. Let the Fairboard continue to invest in upgrades and updates that keep us as the premier choice for all the county event needs.
Would you consider partnering with us by making a year-end donation? Your gift will help us make the Hendricks County 4-H Fairgrounds the BEST…and we’re always striving to make the best, better! You can visit https://www.4hcomplex.org/p/getinvolved/support-the-hcfg to donate.
Please feel free to contact Steve Patterson spatterson@4hcomplex.org if you have any questions.
